    hey,

i just uploaded a teaser for the super-8 short i'm working on. open this address using "open url" in the quicktime player (or simply click it to view in your browser). it's a 1 megabyte file, and it streams if you have a 256 kbit connection or better.

ps. since zimmer stole this music from orff in the first place, i figured i could steal it from him, but it will not be in the final film. ;-)

Though the teaser was the epitome of a teaser, I am excited to see, hopefully, an ambitious artistic endeavor for Super8. Or am I getting my hopes up wink

Good luck in any case. If you think it will be worth it - I am willing to pay for a copy (DV, CD-Rom, BetaSP, etc - no VHS or SVHS plz)

    Hi, Mattias!

I have Hi-speed DSL but all I got was the opening title on black and a still frame of the boy's face. The music played fine, though.

roger, that's odd. do you have quicktime 5? did you stream it in the quicktime player or "progessive download" it in your browser? have you tried to save the file to your hard drive? it should work. the mac.com site sometimes seems to be a little slow for progressive download.

ok, others have reported the same problem. seems like my variable bitrate tricks didn't work that well on windows. if you have quicktime 5 on any platform, this one should work though:

ok, for maximum compatibility, here's an mpeg-1 file. why can't everybody use a macintosh, and all the latest software? :-)
